So far the money has been tabulated and I am proud to announce we went over our goal. Our goal was $20,000 and this year so far we have raised $21,605 and more money is STILL coming in! Grand Total just about $23,000!
April 14, 2007 Fourth Annual Everybody's Children Foundation Benefit was a huge success.
I will have some pictures soon from the benefit and the mission of this money will go towards another Scholarship for two of the kids from foster care that have aged out and are now attending college. A Holiday Party for one or two group homes in December, and a "Information Party" this summer for anyone in the North New Jersey area that has ever been interested in fostering or adopting. Our goal is to try to get 20 kids adopted and 30 kids in foster homes. ( I know what your thinking, but I always set my goals high!)
So many wonderful teachers donated a free private lesson to raise money for our foundation and we raised $330.00!
Edward Ragosta read Tarot Cards and raised and donated $280.00!
Panasonic donated a Digital Camera and we raised 170.00 THANK YOU PANASONIC!
Donations came pouring in this year, we raised $11,800! THANK YOU to all those that donated to Everybody's Children Foundation.
The Professional Shows were FANTASTIC, getting everyone excited about getting on the dance floor. My deepest Thanks to Steven Dougherty & Eulia Barnovsky, Giampiero Giannico & katharina Marks, Damian Stepien & Karolina Delekta, and Paul Richardson and Olga Rodianova.
John DePalma was our MC as he has done for the last four years and his professionaism and personality make our even run smoothly and with humor all evening. THANK YOU JOHN!
Sebastian was our DJ and as usual his music got all of us wanting to get on the dance floor and "get our groove on".
Katharina Marks who owns the Starlight Dance Studio donated the money back from the rental of the ballroom and that helped us reach our goal and we were so honored to have our event three of the four years in her beautiful studio. The second year benefit was held at the Nash Dance Center, another grand ballroom owned and run by Brian and Jenny Nash.
I would like to personally just Thank each and every person that attended and supported Everybody's Children Foundation making it a huge success once again this year. |
